Saint-Gobain is currently looking for applicants who would like practical work experience as a Regional HR Administrator and in ned of a YES programme The Saint-Gobain Regional HR Administrator YES Programme focuses on providing essential office and administrative support to facilitate the day-to-day operations of the regional commercial and plant teams, as well as the Human Resources department. The role contributes to the smooth and efficient functioning of administrative processes while supporting the broader operational and HR requirements of the organisation.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

  • Provide essential HR administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement authorisations, exit clearances, status changes, IT hardware requests, and other general HR functions
  • Coordinate pre-employment medical assessments with the designated clinic, ensure onboarding tools are shared with line managers and new employees, conduct three-month check-ins, and complete the required onboarding checklists
  • Manage payroll-related queries, including Eco-Time enquiries, staff authorisation forms, departure documentation, employee status changes, Eco-Time additions and terminations, and the maintenance of accurate shift patterns
  • Monitor leave balance disputes by maintaining a detailed log and ensuring that queries are resolved within the agreed service-level timelines
  • Coordinate communication between the HR department and other business functions, ensuring effective collaboration, clear information flow, and adherence to company policies
  • Prepare HR correspondence and maintain accurate employee documentation and records while ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate HR databases and employee records, including personnel files and timesheets, and update the PD Pillar and employee files on a monthly basis
  • Maintain the disciplinary database and communicate relevant disciplinary matters and updates to management
  • Send automated reminders to managers regarding employee involvement, skills, and overtime databases to ensure timely updates and accurate records
  • Support the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives, including coordinating regional events by conducting needs analyses, preparing event requirements, and liaising with relevant stakeholders
  • Address employee enquiries promptly and escalate complex or unresolved matters to the appropriate parties to ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Prepare regular HR reports and workforce analytics, including employee turnover, absenteeism, and other relevant workforce metrics
  • Assist with the management of employee training plans and accurately capture completed training and development activities
  • Coordinate with the on-site canteen to arrange catering services for company functions and events
  • Liaise with external suppliers and service providers to coordinate requirements for company signage and related services.
