The South Africa Institute of Black Property Practitioners, or simply referred to as the SAIBPP, is a professional organization that strives for massive transformation of the South Africa’s property sector. Since its establishment in 1996, the establishment has continuously encouraged youths to participate in the built environment. With their continuous support for black businesses and professionals, the SAIBPP has received a valid accreditation as a B-BBEE Level 1 non-profit organization. Under their guidance and professional expertise, the SAIBPP aims to address the lack of black participation in the property sector and come up with ways to increase this by providing skills and enterprise development initiatives.

The South Africa Institute of Black Property Practitioners is offering bursary schemes to students who would like financial assistance for their future studies. The SAIBPP (South Africa Institute of Black Property Practitioners) Bursaries has been providing financial aid for academically-talented students for the past 5 years. This is one of the initiatives held by the organization as a means to promote youth participation amongst tertiary students. If you are a full-time student pursuing a Property-related study course and require immediate financial aid, you are more than welcome to register for the bursary.

  • Property Valuation and Management (BCom)
  • PG Diploma
  • BSc Property Development
  • Property Studies (BSc)

  • Finance (BCom) (majoring in Property Valuation and Management)
  • Property Management (BSc)
  • BCom Honours Property Valuation and Management
  • BSc Property Studies
  • Honours and Masters Programmes in property related studies

Additionally, you will need to be a student or are planning to enroll into either one of these university if you wish to register for the SAIBPP (South Africa Institute of Black Property Practitioners) Bursary:

  • University of Cape Town
  • University of Johannesburg
  • University of the Witwatersrand
  • Tshwane University of Technology
  • University of Pretoria
  • Cape Peninsula University of Technology
  • University of KwaZulu Natal
  • Any other South African tertiary institution that has the aforementioned Degrees for enrollment.

The SAIBPP (South Africa Institute of Black Property Practitioners) Bursaries provides coverage for these expenses below:

  • Full registration fees and tuition expenses for one year
  • Full accommodation costs in university student residences
  • Alternatively, allowance for an out-of-residence accommodation approved by the bursary
  • Allowances to purchase prescribed study materials.

Note:

  • The bursary can be renewed up to 4 years, provided that you maintain excellent academic progress throughout your learning journey
  • Awardees must provide an official document issued by the Institution stating their academic expenses up to the maximum amount.

Eligibility Criteria
