Rand Water is offering financial assistance in the form of bursaries to a hand select number of academically driven students in South African universities. The Rand Water Bursaries is an all-inclusive programme that welcomes people of all different backgrounds. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in the Rand Water Bursaries must fulfill an eligibility criteria before proceeding with their applications. The Rand Water Bursaries Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
1. Basic Requirements

  • Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa
  • Regarded as a previously disadvantaged individual (ACI)
  • Passed their qualification
  • Pursuing any one of the aforementioned study fields
  • Obtained at least a 65% average aggregate score in their major subjects
  • Is not receiving any funding from other bursaries
  • Below 35 years old
  • Acknowledged as full-time students in a tertiary educational institution.

2. Personal Attributes

  • Has a high level of self-motivation
  • Driven by results
  • Displays impressive communication abilities (written and verbal).

Candidates are required to create an account on the portal mentioned above. Alternatively, you can choose to apply using your LinkedIn account (if available).

Additionally, you will be required to prepare the following document:

  • A certified copy of your Identity Document
  • A certified copy of your Matric Certificate
  • Proof of Registration/Acceptance letter
  • Your most recent academic transcript.

By sending in your applications, you are hereby giving permission to the selection committee to have your personal information utilized for registration purposes.

Applications for the Rand Water Bursaries must be submitted before the closing date on 23 November 2023.
