About the RAM Professional Driving Learnership 2021-2022
RAM is offering a learnership programme for South African individuals who wish to acquire a basic working foundation in the field of Professional Driving. The RAM Professional Driving Learnership is a wonderful opportunity for young folks who would like to receive working exposure into this career path. Throughout the programme, learners will be subjected to a structured curriculum that combines both theoretical assessments and practical working sessions. With the help of professional training providers, learners will be enriched with a solid new set of skills and knowledge.
The RAM Professional Driving Learnership will be conducted for a total of 12 months. Chosen candidates will need to sign a fixed term employment contract followed by a learnership contract. Learners will not be given a salary. Instead, there will be a learner allowance provided on a monthly basis. Successful learners will be entitled to an NQF Level 3 National Certificate in Professional Driving Learnership.

The RAM Professional Driving Learnership Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
1. Basic Requirements
- Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa
- Currently between 18-29 years old
- Possesses a Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
- Holds a legitimate Driver’s License (Code 10 or 14)
- Both physically and medically healthy for the programme
- Does not have previous criminal records
- Currently unemployed or is not pursuing any further studies/bursary opportunity
- Prepared to undergo through theoretical assessments and practical working sessions.
2. Working Attributes
- Has a basic understanding of numeracy
- Shows impressive driving abilities
- Displays wonderful communication skills.

The selection committee has absolute zero tolerance for late applications. Submissions made past the closing date will not be acknowledged by the selection committee.
Announcements will only be made to candidates who have been shortlisted for the learnership. Should you not hear back from the committee within 14 days past the deadline, we regret to inform you that you have not been selected for the programme.
