About the PepsiCo Megatronics Apprenticeship 2026
PepsiCo is currently looking for exemplary candidates who would like practical work exposure with their apprenticeship in the buzzing Megatronics department. The PepsiCo Mechatronics Apprenticeship is designed as an integrated program that combines structured on-the-job training with formal classroom instruction, enabling apprentices to develop both the practical and theoretical competencies required for the designated trade. Throughout the program, apprentices gain hands-on experience while reinforcing their learning through related technical education.
Upon completion of the training period, apprentices are required to sit for a trade test at an accredited Trade Centre to demonstrate their competence. The Mechatronics Apprentice is trained to understand and apply an integrated body of knowledge that includes mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computer-based systems, including artificial intelligence, as they are used in industrial automation and robotics.
You will be required to fulfill the duties below:
- Completing learner readiness (pre-learning) assessments when required
- Participating in the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment process
- Undertaking gap training and the final assessment, including the trade test
- Attending all scheduled training sessions in line with the prescribed days and times
- Submitting all required assignments within the agreed timelines of the training programme
- Successfully completing the full programme, including classroom instruction, practical work, and all required submissions
- Ensuring consistent attendance and fulfilling all learner responsibilities, except in cases of valid and serious reasons
- Demonstrating willingness to co-sign a formal letter of commitment to the training programme with the line manager
- Communicating any learning challenges or concerns promptly to the course facilitator and HR representatives
