Pepkor is searching for candidates in need of a permanent employment opportunity with an entry-level position as a qualified and professional Service Centre Clerk. The Pepkor Job as Service Centre Clerk requires you to perform the duties below:
- Carry out general administrative duties for the Service Centre as required
- Process employee time-and-attendance (clocking) data daily and submit it to the HR department to facilitate salary payments
- Review, investigate, and resolve payroll, leave, and related queries for all warehouse employees
- Prepare and compile relevant employee reports for the Line Manager
Manage Service Centre inventory control and ensure proper safekeeping of stock and materials - Perform tasks in line with applicable safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional, customer-focused manner
- Manage personal workload effectively while contributing positively to team objectives
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting multiple departments when required
General Responsibilities as Service Centre Clerk
- Perform day-to-day administrative duties to support Service Centre operations
- Process and manage employee time-and-attendance (clocking) records and submit accurate data to Human Resources for payroll processing
- Handle employee queries related to salaries, leave, and other administrative matters, and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Prepare, update, and submit employee and operational reports to the Line Manager
- Maintain accurate inventory control records and ensure the safekeeping of Service Centre stock and materials
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and operational policies and procedures
- Provide professional, customer-focused service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company standards
- Manage workload efficiently while working independently and collaboratively within a team
