About the Novus Holdings WIL (Workplace Integrated Learning) 2026
Novus Holdings is searching for applicants who would like proper work exposure within the Finance field with their Workplace Integrated Learning programme. The Novus Holdings WIL (Workplace Integrated Learning) programme seeks to appoint a Finance Intern who will support the accounting team with the daily operational activities of the Finance department. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world financial processes and allows the intern to contribute meaningfully to routine accounting tasks while developing practical workplace skills.
The opportunity is well suited to a student who is currently pursuing a relevant qualification and requires in-service training or practical work experience as part of their academic programme. The internship is structured over a 12-month period, providing sustained professional exposure within a corporate finance environment and enabling the intern to build a strong foundation for a future career in finance.
You will be required to perform the duties below:
- Assist the Finance team with the daily operational activities of the Finance department to ensure smooth and efficient processes
- Prepare and process customer invoices, as well as capture credit and debit note entries accurately and timeously
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies to maintain accurate costing and correct invoicing
- Verify that all charges align with approved quotations and are supported by valid documentation
- Support the preparation of monthly management reports by gathering and reviewing relevant financial information
- Address and resolve internal and external queries in a professional and timely manner
- Respond to ad hoc finance-related requests as and when required by the department
- Perform reconciliations of supplier accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting
