About Northam Zondereinde
Northam is an independent, fully empowered, mid-tier, integrated platinum group metals producer with two principal operational assets: the Zondereinde and Booysendal mines in the South African Bushveld Complex, and the Zondereinde and Booysendal mines in the Namibian Bushveld Complex. It is also where Northam’s metallurgical activities are housed, which comprise concentrators, a smelter, and a base metals recovery facility, all of which are located inside the Zondereinde lease area.

In addition to mining UG2 and Merensky ore and producing roughly 300 000oz of processed 4E PGMs yearly from its own operations, the Zondereinde mine is an established, conventional, long-life operation that mines UG2 and Merensky ore. The mine is situated at the northern end of the western limb of the Bushveld Complex, close to the town of Thabazimbi, on the northern end of the western limb of the Bushveld Complex.

Throughout the program, you will be exposed to a planned curriculum that will include both theoretical evaluations and practical working sessions that will take place in a real-world workplace context. As you work your way towards a certification, you will be encouraged to make significant progress under the supervision of qualified trainers.
