The North West Provincial Treasury is offering Finance and Administration Learnerships for young folks interested in working for a governmental department. Conducted over the course of 12 months, the North West Provincial Treasury Learnership is a learning opportunity that consists of both theoretical assessments and practical learning sessions. Participants will be guided by an accredited training provider with a high expertise in the field.

Upon successful completion of the North West Provincial Treasury Learnership, learners are entitled to a Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Municipal Finance and Administration NQF Level 4 (SAQA ID 50372). Recipients of this qualification will have a better chance of paving a career as a specialist in municipal financial management. It will transform you into a more attractive asset in the future job market.

The North West Provincial Treasury Learnership is available for individuals planning to develop a career in either one of these public sectors:

  • Financial Services
  • Project/Public Entity Management

Throughout the learnership, participants will receive a monthly stipend of R1 800 to support their journey.

Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates of the North West Provincial Treasury Learnership must adhere to the eligibility criteria attached to the programme. Applications for the North West Provincial Treasury Learnership must be submitted before the closing date on 10 November 2020.
