The North West Provincial Treasury is offering Finance and Administration Learnerships for young folks interested in working for a governmental department. Conducted over the course of 12 months, the North West Provincial Treasury Learnership is a learning opportunity that consists of both theoretical assessments and practical learning sessions. Participants will be guided by an accredited training provider with a high expertise in the field.

Upon successful completion of the North West Provincial Treasury Learnership, learners are entitled to a Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Municipal Finance and Administration NQF Level 4 (SAQA ID 50372). Recipients of this qualification will have a better chance of paving a career as a specialist in municipal financial management. It will transform you into a more attractive asset in the future job market.

The North West Provincial Treasury Learnership is available for individuals planning to develop a career in either one of these public sectors:

• Accounting
• Financial Services
• Project/Public Entity Management
• Administration
• Management

Throughout the learnership, participants will receive a monthly stipend of R1 800 to support their journey.

Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates of the North West Provincial Treasury Learnership must adhere to the eligibility criteria attached to the programme. • Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa
• Not receiving employment at the time of learnership
• Possess a Grade 12 certificate
• Has a valid Driver’s Licenses

• Has an NQF Level 3 qualification in these fields below:

  • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
