Normet is currently on the search for applicants who would like to obtain professional practical work experience through their apprenticeship programme. Normet is actively seeking candidates interested in gaining valuable hands-on work experience through its apprenticeship program. The Normet Apprenticeship Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

1. Basic Requirements

  • Achieve a Grade 12 certificate with core subjects including Mathematics, Physical Science, Electrotechnology, and Engineering Graphic Design
  • Alternatively, obtain an N2 certificate with four subjects, including the relevant trade theory subjects: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Electrical Trade Theory, and Industrial Electronics
  • Secure a National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Level 4 in Electrical EIC (Electrical Infrastructure)
  • Ensure successful completion of the ABET Level 4 Assessment in Numeracy and Literacy
  • Maintain good physical fitness, as the job requires stamina, and be ready to undergo a medical examination and other relevant tests
  • Hold a valid Code 08/B driver’s license.

2. Advantageous Qualities

  • Successfully complete a basic hand skills and measuring equipment course
  • Gain working experience in the engineering industry.
