Eligibility Criteria
Candidates wishing to apply for the Nestlé Bursaries must first meet specific eligibility criteria before moving forward with their applications. Each of the requirements listed below will be used to assess your suitability for the bursary and determine whether you have the qualifications to proceed with the application process. To maximize your chances of success, it is crucial to meet all of the listed criteria. Failure to fulfill any of these requirements could negatively impact the outcome of your application. The Nestle Bursaries Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

  • Ensure you are between 17 and 25 years old
  • Complete Matric to be eligible
  • Pursue or apply to study towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above
  • Study or apply/register to study at an accredited learning institution in South Africa
  • Achieve a minimum overall average of 65% in Matric
  • If you are a current tertiary student, maintain a minimum overall average of 65% for the previous year of study.

  1. Prepare the following supporting documentation to submit with your application:
    1. Certified copy of your ID document
    2. Most recent academic results (on official institution letterhead)
    3. Proof of university registration or admission (on official institution letterhead)
  2. Apply directly online through the portals provided above. Any applications submitted through external methods, such as fax or email, will not be considered by the selection committee.
  3. Alternatively, apply using your LinkedIn account to save time on account creation. Your LinkedIn information will automatically sync with the application process.
  4. By submitting your application, you give the selection committee permission to use your personal information for registration purposes. Your information will be reviewed to assess your eligibility and suitability for the programme.

Ensure the accuracy of your application: Any false statements or misrepresentation of your information will lead to immediate disqualification from the programme.

Closing Date
Applications for the Nestle Bursaries must be submitted before the closing date on 22 November 2024.

To increase your chances of securing your application during the registration period, it’s recommended that you submit your application as early as possible. However, please note that submitting early does not guarantee automatic success in the selection process.

All decisions made by the selection committee are final and binding.
