The National Treasury Internship Programmes 2020-2021, which will take place for a total of 24 months, is targeted at students who are in the midst of wrapping up their studies in 2020, or students who have finished their studies. The exposure you will get from the real-time working environment allows you to further develop yourself as you prepare for the job market in the future.

In order to apply for this programme, candidates must currently be a University or University of Technology student. Students should be pursuing a 3-year Degree or Diploma.  However, unlike most internships, those who are attaining their Postgraduate qualifications can also apply for the opportunity. Eligibility Criteria
The National Treasury Internship Programmes 2020-2021 requires all candidates to adhere to a list of eligibility criteria before you can proceed with the registration. Each of these items below will determine whether you are deserving enough of this opportunity. To ensure a level of success, please pay great attention to the list of criteria below.

The National Treasury Internship Programmes 2020-2021 Requirements are as follows:

  • Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa
  • Be 35 years old or below at the time of registration
  • Has not been a part of any external internship programme
  • Can provide these following documents:
    • A valid copy of your Identity Document
    • A valid copy of your complete official academic track records
    • A valid copy of your educational certifications/qualifications (e.g. Senior Certificate)
    • A valid copy of any available tertiary institutions certifications.

Candidates must not leave out any important document behind. Should candidates be sending incomplete applications that is missing a document, it is possible that your registration may be revoked.

  • Choose the soft file that you would like to upload
  • Find the “Save File” button if you would like to save a certain soft file
  • The file that you have uploaded will appear right beside the “Safe File” Button.

All applications must be processed through this portal. Any documents or forms that are submitted through e-mail or fax will not be acknowledged by the selection committee.

Closing Date
Applications for the National Treasury – Graduate Development Programme 2020-2021 close on 30 September 2020. Candidates sending in applications past the set deadline will not be regarded by the staff.
