About the Macsteel Learnerships 2021-2022
Macsteel is offering learnership programmes for South African individuals who are interested in obtaining credible working exposure in a company setting. The Macsteel Learnerships is a remarkable opportunity that allows you to develop yourself as a potential worker. Throughout the programme, you will be subjected to a structured curriculum that combines both theoretical assessments and practical working sessions. Guided by professional experts, you will have your potential sharpened and you will be better prepared to face the competitive job market in the future.

The Macsteel Learnerships is available for the following fields:

• Stores and Warehousing (NQF Level 3)
• Production Technology (NQF Level 4)
• Healthy and Safety (NQF Level 4)

The Macsteel Learnerships is open for internal and external learners. Internal learners will have their working conditions and salaries remain as per their normal settings. However, you will be given time to participate in the learnership classroom activities.

Menawhile, external learners will be entitled to a monthly stipend of up to R3 600. On top of that, you will be located by the company into their operations as part of your practical working exposure.

The Macsteel Learnerships will be held at the Macsteel Head Office based in Boksburg. All transportation and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of candidates, not the company.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in the Macsteel Learnerships must fulfill an eligibility criteria that will determine whether you would make an ideal candidate or not. The Macsteel Learnerships Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

• Possesses a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
• Must has obtained 40% for Mathematics, 50% for Mathematics Lit, and 50% for English
• Shows proven fluency in the English language (written and spoken)
• Prepared to fully commit to the entire 12-month duration of the programme
• Shows impressive merits.

External learners will be required to send in their tax number, legitimate proof of banking details, a colored copy of your Identity Document, your most recent qualifications, and your most updated CV.

By sending in your applications, you are hereby giving permission to the selection committee to have your personal information utilized for registration purposes.

Applications will be subjected to further evaluation and vetting procedures to verify the validity of candidates. Anyone discovered to be falsifying any aspects of their applications will be disqualified from registrations.

Note: candidates will be required to participate in screening sessions and interviews before the selection committee makes their final decisions.

Closing Date
Applications for the Macsteel Learnerships must be submitted before the closing date on 01 March 2021.

The selection committee has absolute zero tolerance for late applications. Candidates discovered to be making their submissions past the deadline will not be entertained during the registration period.

Announcements will only be made to candidates who have been shortlisted. Should you not hear back from the selection committee within 14 days, we regret to inform you that you have not been accepted by the programme.
