They will work closely with the Technical and Contracts Manager, aiding in various daily tasks to help streamline operations. Furthermore, the internship includes managing orders, overseeing projects, and handling RMU assembly, giving interns exposure to project management aspects. Finally, the role involves participating in site repair work, which allows interns to apply their skills in real-world scenarios and enrich their overall learning experience in the field.
You will also be required to perform the duties below:
- Provide support to office staff and managers with daily operations
- Oversee inventory and maintain accurate records of stock movements
- Ensure the work area is clean and organized
- Prepare, test, inspect, and issue products according to project specifications
- Support value-added processes for all products based on project needs
- Assist the designated Quality Management Representative (QMR) with any quality-related
- tasks and procedures
- Follow any lawful instructions given by the managers at LESA
- Assemble and wire RMUs for received orders
- Help plan the execution of orders, builds, and project activities
- Be willing to undertake site work and travel occasionally
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct repairs on switchgear, including:
- Replacing mechanisms
- Installing motors and automation
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Performing general fault-finding tasks
- Having a general understanding of protection settings and the functionality of protection relays.
