  • R201000 – R250000 (Tuition Expenses, Accommodation Costs)
  • R251000 – R300000 (Tuition Expenses Only)

Application Instructions
Apply online: Candidates interested in the KZN Dept of Health Bursary must get their application forms directly from the closest Government Hospital, Human Resource Department. Search for your nearest hospital through this Official KZN Department of Health Hospitals List.

Please be kindly informed that you will need to go to a hospital that is closest to your home or residence in KwaZulu-Natal (home town). Don’t visit the hospital that is closest to where you are saying while you are in University (not your home town).

If you are unable to directly obtain the application form by yourself, you can get your family member to get the form and sign it on your behalf.

Once you have filled in the application form, please send it in directly to the same hospital you got the form. Your application form should be fully completed in order to be considered for the bursary programme.
