Kumba Iron Ore is offering an entry-level learnership programme that will allow you to develop your knowledge and work performance in the field of Mining. The Kumba Iron Ore Mining Learnership is an 18-month enrichment program that focuses on Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM). In surface mining, you will get both classroom and practical experience, enabling you to broaden your knowledge and skills. As you go through your mining learnership program, our objective is to help you in uncovering your actual potential and acquiring the skills you will need to operate as a future Drilling or Blasting Assistant and/or operator of various Trackless Mobile Equipment.

As a Learner, you will be entitled to:

• A monthly stipend/allowance for the length of the program
• An MQA Certificate following competence declaration to supplement skills
• Personal Protective Equipment.

The mining learnership will only begin if the applicant has passed the interview and secured a Fitness Certificate.
