About the Kimberly-Clark Apprenticeship 2025
Kimberly-Clark is on the search for applicants who would like to obtain practical work experience through their apprenticeship programme in the Quality field. The Kimberly-Clark Apprenticeship provides an opportunity for individuals to report to the Quality Team Leader while independently verifying that operator self-controls are established and functioning effectively. Apprentices are expected to perform at the highest level, thriving in a performance-driven culture that values genuine care and dedication. You will be required to perform the duties below:
- Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) rules and regulations at all times, including the 10 critical safety rules and three key obligations
- Conduct tests and verifications using established standards to detect product quality defects and ensure operator controls are functioning properly
- Perform continuous sample testing to maintain quality standards
- Check whether results meet required specifications and take appropriate action if they do not.
- Analyze data and trends to support decision-making with the operations team, escalating issues promptly when necessary
- Complete all required training within the designated timeframe
- Take ownership of personal development and training
- Conduct quality verifications at RFP to uphold standards
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment by adhering to 5S housekeeping standards
- Communicate effectively with the incoming shift team during shift handovers
- Perform routine product inspections within assigned areas, following the set schedule, to ensure operator self-controls are functioning properly
- Conduct specialized low-frequency product testing as needed
- Identify raw material defects and rejections, including verifying non-conformance reports (NCRs) raised by operations
- Inform operating crews about defects so corrective action can be taken promptly
- Ensure shift teams properly hold and document defective production
- Monitor centerlining activities and report any non-conformances.
