About the IDC (Industrial Development Corporation) PWD (People with Disability) Learnership 2025
IDC (Industrial Development Corporation) is seeking for applicants who are recorngized as PWDs to obtain theoretical knowledge and practical skills through their learnership. The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) offers a dedicated Learnership Programme specifically designed for Persons with Disabilities (PWD). This 12-month initiative provides participants with structured workplace exposure, allowing them to gain meaningful employment experience within a supportive and supervised environment.
The programme is delivered through a fixed-term contract and combines practical workplace activities with a tailored training curriculum. Its primary aim is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge required for professional development. Throughout the duration of the programme, learners will have the opportunity to explore various career paths, engage in professional networking, and benefit from mentorship provided by experienced industry professionals. In addition to gaining hands-on experience, participants will receive a monthly stipend, reinforcing IDC’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment through skill development and career advancement for individuals with disabilities.
You will be required to deliver the following outputs:
- Establish a strong talent pool by equipping individuals with relevant skills to support the Corporation’s operations and reduce unemployment

- Introduce graduates to professional networks and expose them to a variety of career options within the Corporation
