Currently, Hollywood is looking to fill two Gardener positions based in Bryanston, Gauteng. The successful candidates will be responsible for the general upkeep of gardens, ensuring that lawns, flowers, and plants remain healthy and well-maintained. You will be required to perform the duties below:
- Carry out tasks such as soil preparation, digging, forking, mulching, watering, weeding, raking, edging, sowing seeds, preparing beds, and planting
- Operate and maintain basic gardening tools and light machinery as needed
- Use equipment like rotary mowers, cylinder mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers effectively
- Adjust mower height settings according to the type of grass or area being mowed
- Check oil levels and inspect mowers regularly for any signs of damage
- Follow all relevant health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Make sure all tools and equipment are cleaned after use and stored properly
