About the Hollywood Foundation
Since 2012, Hollywood has been using the “My Community Programme” to make an investment in the lives of people living in South Africa. After making substantial strides over the years to improve their Corporate Social Investment, establishing their very own charitable organization was the natural next step for them to take. In 2021, the Hollywood Foundation was founded with the intention of the company playing an ever more significant role in the areas in which it operates. They have made it their mission to spread hope and to collaborate with as many individuals as they can in order to produce an effect that is long-lasting.

Donations were given to a total of 890 charity organizations in 2021, including retirement communities, homes for children and disadvantaged adults, schools, and many others. In addition to that, they increased their assistance in the direction of the expansion and development of small local businesses inside South Africa. They paved the way for 91 SMMEs to have a better future by assisting them in accomplishing their professional objectives in a variety of ways, such as providing cash contributions and investing in equipment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Grade 11/12 candidates: must have an average aggregate score of at least 65% for your latest results and at least a 65% score per subject as a requirement for your entry to the degree
• Must obtain at least 60% for your tertiary/higher institution results
• Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa (applicable for external candidates)
• Currently pursuing your Degree, Post-Graduate, Diploma, or National Certificate studies
• Currently pursuing either one of the following fields of study:

  • Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • LLB Legal
  • Media and Communications
• Preference is offered to candidates who are currently living within the same location as their preferred institution.
