About the Givaudan Warehouse Learnership 2025
Givaudan is seeking for applicants who woule like to receive theoretical knowledge and practical skills within the Warehouse department through their learnership. The Givaudan Warehouse Learnership is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Learner to join our team at the Tulisa Park site in South Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the movement and organization of raw materials and finished products within the manufacturing area. Working under minimal supervision, you will follow established guidelines to ensure smooth operations, contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse.
You will be required to perform the duties below:
- Transfer stock between the warehouse and production areas as needed
- Deliver materials to the factory floor to support operators in the compounding process
- Combine and process surplus materials efficiently
- Prepare and distribute samples for departments such as FC&A and planning
- Consolidate all stock in the LSI system into designated fixed bins
- Refill fixed bins with necessary materials and perform daily stock verification
- Transfer alcohol and other raw materials into designated farm tanks
- Utilize scanning equipment to track and manage inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation by following 5S principles
- Identify and eliminate potential hazards that could affect food safety (HACCP) and quality standards
- Adhere to allergen management protocols to ensure product integrity
- Follow environmental health and safety regulations and workplace standards
- Report any incidents or near-miss situations promptly
- Process returns from liquid and powder production plants back into the warehouse using SAP
- Communicate effectively with different departments to resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
- Verify and correctly allocate all master HU units in the LSI system to their appropriate bin locations
- Conduct stock checks and collaborate with the Team Leader to correct any shortages
- Retrieve and store materials in both warehouse and production areas
- Assist the Team Leader in managing and maintaining inventory levels
- Investigate PSTD materials and report findings to the Team Leader
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts within both the warehouse and factory
- Analyze deviations in stock levels and compile detailed reports on findings
- Engage actively in workplace improvement initiatives, such as LEAN programs
- Operate forklifts, drum handling equipment, and pedestrian stackers safely and efficiently.
