About the Fidelity Services Duty Driver 2026
Fidelity Services is on the search for candidates who would like to obtain a professional employment opportunity as a qualified Duty Driver in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The Fidelity Services Duty Driver is responsible for safely transporting night-shift employees to and from their workplace, ensuring punctuality, comfort, and security throughout each journey.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

  • Assume full responsibility and accountability for safely transporting employees at all times
  • Manage the proper parking and security of company vehicles
  • Notify the Operations Manager immediately of any delays or disruptions
  • Implement measures to prevent incidents and report any occurrences promptly
  • Maintain consistent radio communication with controllers to ensure coordination and safety
  • Take proactive steps to address and respond to any suspicious activity
  • Conduct thorough vehicle audits and complete all required checklists accurately
  • Drive responsibly and document any accidents or incidents in accordance with company procedures

General Responsibilities as Duty Driver

  • Transport clients, staff, or goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in good working condition, including cleanliness and routine checks
  • Plan routes to ensure timely arrival while considering traffic, weather, and safety conditions
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
  • Report any vehicle issues, incidents, or accidents promptly to the supervisor
  • Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary
  • Monitor fuel, oil, and other vehicle supplies, arranging refills as required
  • Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
