The Energy & Water Sector Education Training Authority, or commonly referred to as EWSETA, is an entity that is formed to facilitate quality programmes that aim to promote the skills development of younger generations in South Africa. As an accredited SETA, the establishment is follows the terms that have been s in Section 9 of the Skills Development Act (SDA), 97 of 1998 and is under the direct supervision of the Honourable Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology.

EWSETA bears the responsibility of develop the skills of individuals in this particular sector. Through credible learning programmes, education and training sessions, as well as proper maintenance of their Workplace Skills Plan, EWSETA is determined to fulfill the demand for scarce skills.   • Possesses a Matriculation Certificate or a relevant qualification (students who are currently in their first year of university or TVET College)
  • Second or third-year students must provide their past academic track records
  • Post-graduate candidates must provide relevant qualifications
  • Preference will be offered to legitimate citizens of South African citizens who are regarded as Previously Disadvantaged Individuals: young students, females, black, has disabilities)
  • Willing to provide a legitimate household annual income.

Similarly, candidates should provide correct, personal details about themselves on the application form. The committee will process your applications under serious evaluation and background checks. Candidates discovered to be falsifying any aspects of their applications will be disqualified as well.
