The EWC (Ekurhuleni West TVET College) has the overarching goal of providing students with the education and training they need to acquire the knowledge and abilities that will enable them to readily obtain employment or to become self-employed. These programs will be of an appropriate and high quality. Within South Africa’s Gauteng Province, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality is home to the Ekurhuleni West TVET College.

The institution was created in accordance with the Further Education and Training Act, which was passed as Act No. 98 of 1998, and it was proclaimed as such by the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Education (Gauteng Province) in accordance with an Extraordinary Notice in the Provincial Gazette (dated 7 December 2001).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Certified copies of your qualifications (must not exceed more than 3 months)
  • An experiential letter that you must obtain from your campus
  • Bank Confirmation Letter (not Bank Statement)
  • SARS Confirmation Letter
  • Proof of Residence.

All these documents should be in your application dossier. Incomplete dossiers will automatically be disqualified from the registration process.

By submitting your applications, you are granting the selection committee permission to use your personal information for registration reasons. This authorization is given when you send in your applications.

To confirm that the individuals being considered are legitimate, further screening and review processes will be performed on the applications. Anyone who is found to have lied about any component of their applications will be kicked out of the registration period.

Candidates are required to complete the application procedure using the portal that was supplied above. The selection committee will not consider any submissions that were made by other means, such as faxing in the application.

Closing Date
