EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Call Centre Learnership Programme 2020-2021
The Eastern Cape Department of Health is offering Emergency Medical Services Call Centre Learnership Programme for 50 potential, South African individuals. The EMS Call Centre Learnerships is specifically targeted towards local youths within the community, especially those who are planning to seek employment in the near future. With so much potential from these people, the learnership is able to give the necessary push to help them improve their knowledge and sharpen their skills in this particular field. Interested candidates who would like to register for the EMS Call Centre Learnership Programme must hold a minimum educational qualification of a Grade 12 certificate. Selected candidates of the programme are expected to fully participate in this learnership throughout a total period of 12 months. During this time period, learners are to follow the series of theoretical knowledge assessments as well as practical learning sessions. All sessions will be conducted under the supervision of an experienced, professional mentor.

The EMS Call Centre Learnership Programme requirements are as follows:

  • Valid copy of your current Matric (Grade 12) certificate, or any other qualification that is the same with the key subjects of Biology/Life Sciences and Maths/Maths Literacy
  • Valid copy of your current RSA Identity Document (if you’re planning to use your South African Identity Card, you will need to send in copies of both sides of your Identity Card)
  • Your most recent Curriculum Vitae, or a Personal Profile entailing all of your competencies
  • A completed Z83 form, which you may attain from your nearest Public Service Department/Facility
  • Valid proof of residence that is according to the candidate’s area of application.

Note: Candidates are expected to submit in only these aforementioned documents, and any documentation must not be older than three months. Therefore, please double check the age of your documents before sending them in to the committee.
