Cure Day Hospitals Credit Clerk Learnership 2026: Seeking for Applicants with Strong Attention to Detail

About the Cure Day Hospitals
Cure Day Hospitals was founded 17 years ago by a group of visionary doctors with the mission of making private healthcare more affordable and accessible to South Africans. Recognizing the long-standing criticism of high costs in the private healthcare sector, particularly due to rising medical inflation, the group developed a business model that focuses on lowering costs for both medical aid members and private patients. To strengthen its vision and ensure inclusivity, Cure Day Hospitals entered into a Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) partnership, while maintaining ownership by doctors and business leaders. The organization is further supported by a skilled and experienced management team, ensuring that quality and affordability remain central to its operations.
The group’s journey began with the acquisition of its first day hospital, which had been established 32 years earlier and was reopened in March 2008 as Medkin Cure Day Hospitals. The expansion continued with the opening of its second facility in Midstream in 2011, followed by several more hospitals across the country. Today, Cure Day Hospitals operates 14 day hospitals nationwide. Seven facilities are located in Gauteng, including Medkin, Midstream, Erasmuskloof, Montana, Fourways, Wilgeheuwel, and Newmarket Alberton. Additional hospitals are situated in Bloemfontein in the Free State, Foreshore, Somerset West, Bellville, and Paarl in the Western Cape, as well as East London in the Eastern Cape and Mbombela in Mpumalanga. This growing network reflects Cure Day Hospitals’ commitment to expanding its reach while continuing to deliver accessible, high-quality healthcare.
