About the Clover Millwright Apprenticeship 2023-2027
Clover is providing candidates the opportunity to join their 4-year apprenticeship programme for anybody looking to be a qualified Artisan: Millwright. The Clover Millwright Apprenticeship is seeking for energetic applicants who have high levels of self motivation and aspirations that are in line with the company.

As an apprentice, you will be required to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Complete the necessary formal and academic prerequisites
  • Study and comprehend the pertinent learning domains and consequences
  • Complete your coursework at a formal educational institution
  • During your academic time, gain real-world experience working in a factory
  • Finished the general induction/maintenance theory and practice, dairy technology, productivity, and economics courses
  • At the appropriate Training Center, complete the practical training program and the Millwright Trade Test
  • During the learning program, you will be sent to a manufacturing site for work experience.

The Clover Millwright Apprenticeship is available in the following locations:

  • Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
  • Bloemfontein, Free State
  • Clayville/Midrand, Gauteng
  • Queensburgh, KZN

Apprentices will be entitled to a monthly allowance of R8 000/month.

Eligibility Criteria

All you need to do is double-check your qualifications against the standards of the selection committee and the prerequisites listed below. Make sure you meet all of the requirements if you want to have a chance of being accepted. While it might not automatically disqualify you, doing so could lower your chances of being accepted.

The Clover Millwright Apprenticeship Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

  • Has a Grade 12 qualification with at least 60% score in Physical Science and 60% in Mathematics (not Maths Literacy)
  • Owns an NQF Level 4 qualification in the subjects of Electrical and Mechanical
  • Advantageous: has prior practical experience within a Production or Maintenance setting.

The selection committee will not review applications submitted by candidates beyond the deadline. Regardless of their substance, all entries submitted after the deadline will be promptly dismissed.
