About the Clover Job Vacancy as Handyman 2025
Clover is seeking for applicants who would like a chance at a permanent employment with the company’s Production department as a professional Handyman. The Handyman position at Clover involves carrying out a variety of maintenance tasks within the plant to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This role also includes offering hands-on support to the Maintenance Team whenever needed, helping to keep operations on track and equipment in good working order.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

• Receive and review job cards to carry out scheduled maintenance tasks
• Perform basic repairs in electrical systems, welding, and civil work such as plastering, tiling, and plumbing
• Liaise with on-site contractors when necessary to coordinate tasks
• Conduct weekly inspections on racking, generators, dock levelers, fire pumps, and valve stations
• Be available for standby duty according to the designated roster
• Follow all safety procedures related to your role and responsibilities
• Mark and secure working areas as needed to ensure a safe environment
• Run and document weekly tests on the fire pump and valve system
• Perform and record weekly generator tests
• Inspect dock levelers weekly and complete the necessary documentation
• Carry out daily ladder inspections to ensure safety compliance
• Inspect racking systems on a weekly basis and document findings
• Repair concrete floors and bollards as needed to maintain facility integrity
• Complete boiler-making tasks such as constructing safety cages used during stock takes
• Inspect and test 380V truck plugs for functionality and safety
• Monitor the ammonia plant and coordinate with the Engineering Partner (EP) for any repairs outside of the SLA
• Communicate with contractors on-site as needed to support maintenance and repair efforts.

General Duties as Handyman

• Handle plumbing tasks like repairing leaks, clearing blocked drains, and installing or fixing taps, pipes, and other fixtures
• Take care of basic electrical work such as changing light bulbs, replacing outlets or switches, and solving small electrical issues
• Manage carpentry duties including fixing damaged wood, putting up shelves, and putting furniture together
• Apply fresh coats of paint to walls, trim, or surfaces and use stain or varnish where needed for finishing touches
• Restore damaged drywall by patching holes or replacing sections as necessary
• Work with tile surfaces by installing new tiles, fixing broken ones, and ensuring proper upkeep
• Carry out flooring projects involving installation, repair, or upkeep of materials like tile, laminate, or hardwood
• Maintain heating and cooling systems by completing basic tasks such as replacing air filters and checking vents
• Troubleshoot and fix minor problems in common household appliances
• Inspect and repair broken equipment, tools, or various household machines
• Fix or swap out faulty doors, windows, and any worn-out hardware components.
