About the Bryte Insurance – Short-Term Insurance Learnership 2021-2022
Bryte Insurance is offering a learnership programmes with INSETA to South African individuals who originate from previously disadvantaged local backgrounds. The Bryte Insurance – Short-Term Insurance Learnership is a programme that combines both theoretical aspects and practical working sessions to give you a better exposure of the Insurance industry. Based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, the learnership allows participants to obtain work-related experience in the field of short-term insurance.

Over the course of 12 months, you will pursue a FETC (Further Education Training Certificate) Short-Term Insurance Qualification Level 4. However, this is provided you show impressive progress throughout the overall course of the learnership. In addition to getting knowledge and skills in insurance, you will be equipped with courses that put a strong emphasis on behavioral competencies.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Below 24 years old (is turning 24 by 2022)
  • Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa
  • Possesses a Grade 12 qualification
  • Has a 50% score for Mathematics/Mathematics Literacy, English Higher/Standard Grade,
  • Second Language Higher/Standard Grade
  • Does not have any qualifications since their Grade 12 qualification
  • Is not pursuing a qualification at the moment
  • Does not have the financial means to pursue a qualification.

Candidates must access the portal above to begin processing your applications. Only online applications will be accepted. Applications made through fax or email will not be regarded by the selection committee, and you will not have a spot during the registration period.

In addition to your online application, candidates must include these documents into their dossier:

  • Your most updated Curriculum Vitae
  • A certified copy of your Identity Document
  • A certified copy of your Matric certificate
  • Certified doctors letter that indicates the nature of your disability (for candidates with disability)

Closing Date
Applications for the Bryte Insurance – Short-Term Insurance Learnership must be submitted before the closing date on 07 September 2021.

To earn a spot during the registration period, it’s advisable that you send in your submissions way before the closing date. That way, you can avoid the possibility of getting left out due to last-minute applications.

The selection committee will not be accepting any applications sent past the closing date. Should you make your submission past the deadline, you will automatically be disqualified.
