About the Bridgestone Millwright Apprenticeship 2026
The Bridgestone Millwright Apprenticeship Program 2026 is a full-time, on-site training opportunity designed to equip participants with practical and theoretical exposure within a manufacturing environment. The program aims to develop technical competence while fostering professional growth within a global industrial organization.

Location: Brits, South Africa
Participants in this apprenticeship will be involved in activities focused on production optimization and manufacturing efficiency. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the optimization of compound and mixing specifications to ensure consistent manufacturing output
- Assisting with extrusion and calendaring processes to achieve required component quality
- Contributing to waste and scrap reduction initiatives in line with budgetary targets
- Collaborating with production teams to ensure adequate tack levels for components supplied to tyre assembly
- Monitoring process consistency and reporting deviations where necessary.
Apprenticeship Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the program:
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science
- OR N2–N6 qualification with at least four relevant trade theory subjects
- OR Technical Matric including Mathematics, Science, and applicable trade theory
- OR NCV Level 4 Engineering Certificate with seven subjects and relevant trade theory
- Workshop or practical training experience will be considered an advantage
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
