About the BP (British Petroleum) Global Supply Chain Learnership 2025
BP (British Petroleum) is seeking for applicants who require theoretical knowledge and practical skills focusing on the department of Global Supply Chain. The BP (British Petroleum) Global Supply Chain Learnership plays a vital role in producing and delivering management information (MI) reports with accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency. These reports cover a range of areas, including Health, Safety, and Quality performance, data entry activities, and general Supply Chain reporting. Beyond report preparation, the learner actively participates in key meetings, ensuring that communication flows smoothly and coordination across teams remains effective.

The role also involves coordinating product changes within the Supply Chain, which includes managing the F2103 process, liaising with third-party manufacturers, and compiling data for updates in the BP Global Database. In carrying out these responsibilities, the learner collaborates closely with Blendcor Joint Venture (JV), UnicoTec, technology, procurement, and, most significantly, the manufacturing departments. This collaboration ensures consistent support for manufacturing management, enabling the organization to meet service level agreements between the Supply Chain function and its customers.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

  • Monitor supplier quality performance and log non-conformities in the regional supplier complaints registry
  • Record and track customer complaints through the global database (eQMS)
  • Oversee product quality performance of third-party manufacturers and update periodic MI reports
  • Document meeting minutes and prepare regular quality performance reports from Castrol’s engagements with third-party suppliers
  • Track and record manufacturing Quality Observation Conversations (QOCs) against global performance benchmarks
  • Coordinate Inter-Laboratory Correlation Program (ILCP) testing samples within the region, compiling and reporting participant results
  • Manage the F2103/New Product Introduction (NPI) process
  • Coordinate and track the execution of F2103 for new product introductions and product changes, ensuring alignment among technology, marketing, manufacturing, and third-party manufacturers
  • Receive and distribute customer complaint samples to the appropriate manufacturers
  • Track progress of customer complaint Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and compile data for reporting purposes
  • Monitor audit findings and follow up with third-party manufacturers to ensure timely closure.
