About the BKB Business Practice Learnership 2023-2024
BKB is providing an extensive learnership programme for candidates who are keen on developing their abilities and skills in the Business Practice field. The BKB Business Practice Learnership presents an excellent chance for individuals who have a passion for agriculture and a keen interest in expanding their knowledge of the fibre industry. If your application is successful, you will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive 12-month Learnership program. This program focuses on attaining a qualification in Business Practice at the NQF 1 level.

As part of the learnership, selected candidates will have the privilege of attending both theory-based classes and practical training specifically centered around the field of fibre. This well-rounded approach ensures that learners gain a solid understanding of the theoretical concepts while also acquiring hands-on experience in working with fibre-related activities. To support learners during the program, a stipend will be provided in accordance with applicable regulations. This stipend serves as a financial assistance measure to help cover certain expenses that learners may incur while participating in the learnership.

The BKB Business Practice Learnership Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

1. Basic Qualifications

  • South African citizens who are unemployed
  • Aged between 18 and 29 years
  • Complete Grade 10 education
  • Demonstrate good communication skills.
  • Display good time management skills.
  • Do not have prior completion of SAQA 61775 or current enrollment in another learnership or study program.
  • Be prepared to engage in physically demanding tasks and have the physical ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Obtain a medical report certifying any disabilities and/or impairments
  • Able to commute
  • Originating from previously disadvantaged groups.
