About the AFGRI Agri Services Learnership 2024
AFGRI Agri Services is providing a learnership programme for candidates in need of theoretical knowledge and practical work expsoure in Farmer Development. The AFGRI Agri Services Learnership Programme is a structured, 12-month training initiative designed to equip learners with skills in crop and animal farming. While the programme is open to all, AFGRI Farmer Development actively encourages individuals from historically disadvantaged backgrounds to apply, fostering inclusivity in agricultural training. Successful applicants will receive both practical and theoretical training at the Vastfontein Training Farm in Pretoria North, providing a comprehensive learning experience that prepares them for future opportunities in the field.
Throughout the learnership, participants will engage in a variety of farm-related tasks and projects, gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of a cross-functional team. Learners will have the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects, strengthening their understanding of farming operations and teamwork. Each selected learner will enter into a 12-month fixed-term contract with AFGRI Farmer Development, ensuring structured support and guidance as they progress through the programme at Vastfontein Farm.
