About the AFGRI Agri Services Grain Management Apprenticeship 2022
AFGRI Agri Services is offering an apprenticeship programme for candidates who are interested in obtaining practical working knowledge in Grain Management. The 4-year AFGRI Agri Services Grain Management Apprenticeship will require you to be enrolled in N subjects and also participate in its Practical Training Institute.
As an apprentice, your duties are:
- Safety Control is the responsibility of this individual
- Trained as a Qualified Artisan in charge of asset control
- Problem-Solving Techniques.
If the apprentice passes the training, there are no training fees associated with it; however, if the apprentice fails, the training must be redone at the apprentice’s own.
If the apprentice decides to leave during the apprenticeship term or the “work-back time,” there will be fees associated with the withdrawal. The expenses will be computed based on the time and stage of the withdrawal process that is chosen.
It is not possible to prolong the contract for more than four years. The contract terminates if the apprentice has not achieved qualification within four years.

- Must have an N2 qualification with the subjects of: Engineering Science, Mathematics, and Industrial Electronics/Electrical Trade Theory/Electrical Drawing
- If you do not have an N2qualification, you can use your Matric certificate, provided you have the following scores:
- Physical Science (minimum 40% or E-Symbol)
- Technical Mathematics (Not Literacy) (minimum 40% or E-Symbol)
- Mathematics (Not Literacy) (minimum 40% or E-Symbol)
- Engineering Graphics and Design (minimum 40% or E-Symbol)
- Technical Science (minimum 40% or E-Symbol)
2. Personal Attributes
- Has a high level of self motivation
- Shows a keen eye for small details
- Works well with other members
- Prioritizes their goals well
- Fulfills their deadlines
- Owns a legitimate Driver’s License
- Communicates well with other people
- Displays understanding with Admin abilities
- Understands strong computer literacy.
