About the Absa Human Capital Learnership 2025
Absa is in need of candidates who have the drive to acquire new knowledge and practical abilities that correlate with the prospective Human Capital field. The Absa Human Capital Learnership requires active participation in structured learning programmes designed to support both personal growth and the development of the organization. As a participant, you will be expected to engage fully with the training curriculum, which includes both theoretical and practical components.
The goal is to ensure that you gain valuable skills and knowledge that contribute meaningfully to your professional development while also aligning with Absa’s strategic objectives. By successfully completing the assigned learning activities, you help drive continuous improvement and add measurable value to the workplace.
You will also be required to perform the duties below:
- Deliver general administrative assistance to the Human Capital team
- Help facilitate onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Keep employee records up to date and support filing and documentation tasks
- Contribute to organizing employee engagement and wellness programs
- Support learning and development efforts, including coordinating logistics for training sessions
- Assist with data entry and the preparation of HR reports
- Take part in various HR-related projects and special initiatives as needed.

- Remain unemployed for the full duration of the programme
- Expect to receive a monthly stipend if selected
- Hold a valid Degree or NQF Level 7 equivalent in Human Resource Management or a related field
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Apply keen attention to detail and maintain solid organizational skills
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Maintain a clean criminal record and a clear credit history
