About the Absa Banking Learnership 2022-2023
Absa is giving out a Banking Learnership for South African youths who wish to be a part of a high-performing banking team and learn from the industry on-site. The Absa Banking Learnership is a 12-month progrmame that’s opening up for candidates who are unemployed and have the relevant Degree that’s suitable for the learnership.
At the moment, the learnership is recruiting for the areas below:
- Retail Business Bank
- Group Procurement
- Product Control Group
- Group Centre Finance
- COO, Management, & Change
Throughout the learnership, you will need to exhibit a huge passion for the Banking industry. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be entitled to a legitimate and fully-funded NQF Level 5 qualification.

1. Basic Requirements
- Possesses a Matric qualification
- Has a Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications in the field of Management Studies, Business, and Commerce
- Has an NQF Level 7 or 8 qualification in either:
- Risk Management
- Management Sciences
- Supply Chain Management
- Information Management
- Any relevant Bcom/BSc Degree that works with the learnership.
2. Other Skills
- Has good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Is not permanent employed
- Does not have more than 1 year of work experience
- Has a good understanding of Microsoft Suite of Applications
- Is not pursuing any other learnership programmes
- Officially recognised as a citizen of South Africa.
